    iCivics is a web-based education project designed to teach students civics and inspire them to be active participants in our democracy. iCivics is the vision of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, who is concerned that students are not getting the information and tools they need for civic participation, and that civics teachers need better materials and support.

Enjoy an interactive learning experience as you see relevant maps, pictures, artifacts, manuscripts and documents, IN CONTEXT, within each story. Take advantage of human-based searches for a safe, fast and fun way to learn the real story behind historic events, famous people, heroic exploits, legends, disasters, movies, plus topics of current interest.
  • The Center for Civic Education
    The Center for Civic Education is a nonprofit, nonpartisan educational corporation that is “dedicated to promoting an enlightened and responsible citizenry committed to democratic principles." It offers free information and resources to that end.
  • Constitutional Rights Foundation (CRF)
    Constitutional Rights Foundation (CRF) is a non-profit, non-partisan, community-based organization dedicated to educating America's young people about the importance of civic participation in a democratic society. The website is loaded with great, free resources for social studies teachers/students to use in their classrooms.
  • World Heritage Tour
    This amazing site has panoramic pictures and interactive virtual reality movies for all sites registered as World Heritage by the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). It is a must see!
